Sorry, Nobody Wants Your Parents’ Stuff

Many clients, via their Last Will and Testament or Trust, elect to have an estate sale after allowing the beneficiaries to choose any sentimental or valuable personal items.  Some request that the Executor/Trustee honor a separate list of keepsakes and specific bequests, providing the ability to update the list as personal property is bought and sold.  Beneficiaries are often relieved of undue burden or guilt when their loved ones provide detailed instructions regarding their personal property.
